Shannon Wolfrum’s been working in the fitness industry her entire life.  Originally from Hartselle, Alabama, Shannon studied at Auburn University, graduating in 2003 with a B.S in Exercise Science.  From there she immediately began personal training at Redstone Arsenal for the US Army in Huntsville, AL from 2003 until 2007.  In 2007 she enrolled in the Army’s Morale, Welfare, and Recreation leadership trainee program which took her to Fort Bragg, NC, where she was the Fitness Coordinator for the entire base.

Shannon served as the fitness manager at the defense supply center in Columbus, Ohio from 2010-2011, and the Sports and Fitness Director at Fort Knox, Kentucky where she managed four gyms and various recreation and intra-mural leagues from 2011 until 2013.  In early 2014 her family moved north to the Hudson Valley, where she’s been ever since.

If she’s not watching her husband’s, Andy, football team or chasing around one of her young sons (Robby 4, Riley 1) she’s likely working out, preparing for a group fitness class, cooking, or shopping.  She’s right at home teaching group fitness, instructing a one-on-one training session, and pushing a duallie-stroller up and down the hills of Cornwall and West Point.

A mom herself, she understands the struggles of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.  She is all about keeping it simple, efficient, and effective. She enjoys finding ways to make fitness and a healthy lifestyle fun for the whole family.
