SUMMER CAMP INFO

Our summer camp guarantees a fun and active experience for all Sportsplex Campers:

  • Swim lessons
  • Tennis lessons
  • Arts and crafts
  • All types of sports
  • A drama/nature program, are all part of this summer program.

Camp registers in single week sessions from June through August.

Registrations for members opens February 3rd and for non-members March 3rd.   

NOTE: Camp Sportsplex is normally sold out by May 1st…Please register early!

  • DAY CAMP

    DAY CAMP Day Camp for ages 6–14 runs from 9:00AM to 3:45PM Campers are grouped by grade.The Ratio of campers to counselors is 8:1 for our younger grades and 10:1 for our upper grades. All of our activities are age appropriate.

  • TOT CAMP

    TOT CAMP FULL DAY Our full day Tot Camp off ers a full day of fun for your children age 3, 4 and 5. This camp runs from 9:00AM to 3:45PM. A low camper to counselor ratio of 5:1 for Tots allows for ample supervision as preschoolers sample the activities that our older campers enjoy. You can choose 3 or 5 days a week.

    TOT CAMP HALF DAY Our half day Tot Camp off ers all of our activities in a half-day version for your children age 3, 4 and 5. The half day camp runs from 9:00AM to 11:45AM. You can choose 3 or 5 days a week.

  • EXTENDED CARE

    We offer extended care hours for full day campers from 7:00–9:00AM and from 4:00–7:00PM each day for an additional fee. Please preregister to use extended care.

  • ARTS & CRAFTS

    Campers work on daily projects as well as cumulative projects that tie into the weekly session themes.

  • TENNIS

    Campers receive a group tennis lesson. The campers play relay games, develop tennis skills and learn techniques that create growing interest in the sport of a Lifetime. Rackets are supplied. Appropriate sneakers must be worn to participate. TENNIS PLUS is a for the child who wants more tennis during their camp experience. This private setting (1:1 or 2:1 teacher:student ratio) with a Certified Tennis Professional

  • SWIMMING

    Our Certified lifeguards and Swim Instructors provide a safe, fun environment during organized swim lessons and free time. At the start of each week a swim assessment will be made of each new camper. Every camper swims two times a day for 30 minutes each time.

  • THEME WEEKS

    Amazing themes for every week like; Superhero, Disney, Pixar, Colors, Sports and many more themes to keep your kids excited!

     

Each group has one head counselor at least 18 years old and one junior counselor 16–18 years old. All counselors receive training. We also have specialty counselors who direct the groups in various activities. They include an Arts & Crafts Director, Athletics Director and an on-site Medical Director.

Children may choose to bring or buy lunch. The lunches are left in the air conditioned building but they are not refrigerated. Please pack accordingly. We provide afternoon snack. It is not necessary to send in money for snack. We will not be responsible for money sent in for snack. Lunch orders are placed directly through the café. No peanut products allowed.
