Camille Francese
Group Exercise Lead
Camille has grown up at Sportsplex New Windsor. She started coming as a child enrolled in summer camp, and spent time in the nursery (Kid Zone) while her parents exercised. Camille’s first job was actually at Sportsplex New Windsor as a camp counselor at 16 years old. She then went on to plan parties, and continued to use the facilities as a member. In 2018 Camille came on as a group exercise instructor, teaching her first love- Les Mills BodyCombat.
Camille hit the fitness world much like her personality as an instructor- fast, furious, and energized. In 2016 Camille started taking group exercise classes at Sportsplex. She fell in love with a particular class, Les Mills BodyCombat. After about a year, Camille attended training for BodyCombat, and as they say- the rest is history. Shortly after obtaining BodyCombat certification, she then went on to certify in Les Mills BodyPump and Les Mills Core.
Camille holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from SUNY New Paltz, and a master’s degree in Literacy Education from Mount Saint Mary College. After spending some time teaching, Camille has transitioned into adult education and is now a Literacy Specialist. Camille enjoys educating others, and transfers that into her role at the club as well. As a true educator, Camille enjoys taking her time sharing her knowledge and offering advice and assistance to members in and outside of her classes. Camille also loves collaborating with her colleagues at the gym to bring the best experience to our members.
Outside of the gym, you can find Camille spending time with her family. She is a new mom, wife, and dog mom.
