Laura Mocodeanu

Laura’s tennis career began at the age of 10 when she first stepped onto the court at Dutchess Racquet Club. Her coach, Chad Lookabaugh shared his enthusiasm, spirit and knowledge of tennis with Laura and paved the way for her to pursue tennis on a collegiate level. Laura was named Captain and earned the #1 Singles as well as the #2 Doubles positions for the Division II Women’s Tennis Team at Queens College. Following her collegiate years, Laura continued her tennis career as a coach in Long Island, NY. Laura is now back in the Hudson Valley and eager to share her continued love and passion for tennis with her students. When she is off the court, you can find her sailing on the Hudson River, traveling, gardening, cooking and spending time with her husband and daughter in Montgomery, NY.
